Fantasy 1990 -Refurbished: N/A

Help! Want to plan quick 4 day trip out of Cape Canaveral -Fantasy or RC Sovereign of the Seas. Has the Fantasy been refurbished since 1990? What about the Sovereign? Would also consider going to Miami and taking the Fascination.

The Fantasy has been refurbished and looks great. We were on her in Dec. Rooms look great with new coverlet things and the bathroom looks good also. I highly recommend Fantasy over SOS. We have been on both.

I also recommend the Fantasy. We were just on her two weeks ago, and they have done a great job refurbishing the ship. We loved it. Have been on both ships and we like the Fantasy better. The promanade deck is beautiful, and the new bathrooms in the cabins are so clean. They removed all the tile, put smaller sinks and it all looks great! The coverlets are great also. The SOS is due to be refurbished at the end of this year. Hope this helps.

I haven't been on the Fantasy yet but am considering her for a late August cruise.

We were on the Sovereign last September. As another poster as already stated, she is supposed to be refurbished later this year. To me she is in great shape for her age. Some things have already been replaced (i.e., deck chairs in some areas) There are some photos from the Sovereign in the link in my signature if you would like to check them out.
