Increase Insurance after Royalup accepted?

You won't have time to make that alteration, usually.  No one requires the change, but you may be out the upgrade cost if you didn't build it into your coverage (and then can't take the cruise.)

The question is, 1) if you miss the ship, do they refund the Royal Up price?

 

2)  Do you care that much?

 

I don't insure the cost of my trip ( I may for some with COVID).  I have paid for the cruise and if I miss it, I will not be happy but not in bad financial shape from it.

 

Also, lately, some people are getting their Royal Up confirmed after they have boarded.  At that point, you probably don't need to insure the extra price.
