MikeKl Posted September 3, 2021 #1 Share Posted September 3, 2021 If my RoyalUp offer is accepted am I required to increase my insurance protection to add on the cost of the RoyalUp? Thanks!
LadyShiva Posted September 3, 2021 #2 Share Posted September 3, 2021 (edited) You won't have time to make that alteration, usually. No one requires the change, but you may be out the upgrade cost if you didn't build it into your coverage (and then can't take the cruise.) SRF Posted September 5, 2021 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2021 The question is, 1) if you miss the ship, do they refund the Royal Up price? 2) Do you care that much? I don't insure the cost of my trip ( I may for some with COVID). I have paid for the cruise and if I miss it, I will not be happy but not in bad financial shape from it. Also, lately, some people are getting their Royal Up confirmed after they have boarded. At that point, you probably don't need to insure the extra price.
