Need a recommendation for hotel near BWI

Can anyone recommend a hotel near BWI? I would like a nice place to stay but not expensive. Thanks.

There is really nice Marriott very close to the airport in Baltimore that we have won several times on Priceline for $50.

Prices are up at all the airport hotels. Priceline would still be the way I would go, but only after checking rates at the new Country Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, or Wingate Inn. There's a Courtyard, Microtel, the above mentioned Marriott, a Fairfield Inn, Hampton Inn, Red Roof Inn, Holiday Inn and probably more.

I checked out the prices on most of the hotels in the BWI area and thought they were really high for just some pleace to sleep for the night. I am not interested in ammenities. Last time I stayed in an inexpensive hotel in the Baltimore area it was horrible - not clean and even though it was a no smoking room it reeked of cigarettes. I will have to give Priceline a try on one of the higher end ones. Thanks for the info.

Do you need to be at the airport, because there are some great prices sometimes on very good downtown hotels with Priceline. If bidding at the airport you will do just as well in the 2 1/2 star category as 3. Bone up at http://www.biddingfortravel.com or let me know if you want additional help.

Microtell inn and suites is a pretty nice chain of motels. They even have a neat window seat. They are worth it.
