monkey1 Posted February 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2006 Hi, I'm getting married on the CB in May, and I'm sending out a newsletter update to our group. Just wanted to check the accuracy of a couple things. Is this the correct order of dining for the Eastern Itinerary?Sailaway - dressy casual, Sat.Captain's Welcome Dinner - Sun., FormalItalian Night - dressy casual, Mon.Caribbean Night - Tues. do people dress up in Caribbean garb for this?Chef's night -dressy casual,. Wed.Captain's Gala - Thurs., FormalLandfall - dressy casual, Fri. Is afternoon tea worth attending? Also, this isn't for the update to guests, but I want to print up custom menus, and wanted to check to see if this is the complete menu for Sterling Steakhouse on the CB. I tried using search on these boards and looked at CruisingtheCaribbeanPrincess.com, but couldn't find the answer. This was sent to me by Princess' wedding group, so just want to check. cruzinchris Posted February 18, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 18, 2006 Hi, Traci. I was just on the CB (1/28), and the Caribbean menu was featured on Monday night (smart casual/island attire). Italian night was Tuesday. Is your cruise Eastern or Western? The menu schedule probably varies based on the itinerary; I've only done Eastern on the CB. Afternoon Tea is a lovely event; might be nice for all of the ladies in your group to meet there. Bon Voyage! Chris
monkey1 Posted February 18, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted February 18, 2006 Thanks, Chris. We're sailing on an Eastern itinerary.

cruzinchris Posted February 18, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 18, 2006 Hello again, Traci. I believe that it was you who asked about wheelchair access to the deck overlooking the Terrace Pool. Whe DH and I went to look into this for you, we thought that you had chosen one of the loveliest places on the ship for your wedding! The vistas will be absolutely breathtaking - your guests are in for some spectacular views! What day/time is your wedding? Are you having your "reception" in Sterling Steakhouse? How many guests will you have? It sounds so exciting and very romantic. Chris
monkey1 Posted February 18, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted February 18, 2006 Hi, Dreamer3333--I looked on cruisingthecaribbeanprincess.com, but they don't have Sterling's menu posted. We will definitely check out afternoon tea based on your and Chris' recommendations. Chris--yes it was me, and thank you so much for checking that area for us. I followed your posts throughout your cruise. Happy belated birthday :) I am very excited about having our wedding in that area--it's pending final confirmation, but I'm hoping as long as there's no rain, we get our wish. I went and toured the ship back in August, and fell in love with that area. Our wedding is at 3:30 p.m. on mon., may 29 and then we plan on having a couple hours in wheelhouse before heading to Sterlings. Because we have ~70 people (couple people have added, some have dropped, but I think we'll net at this number), the maitre d said we could have Sterlings to ourselves if we started at 6 p.m.--I'm very happy about this! Thanks for your best wishes. I can't wait! Traci
