you get 4 and I think the price was 11.50. You can put any type of beer they have in a bucket and take it with you wherever you want

Lots of Beer Companies sponsor "Specials".. each day, ask about the Bucket specials..

 

One day it was Heineken.. one day, if you bought 2 buckets of Michelob, you got a Tshirt and a Glass Mug.... etc... The great deck staff usually makes bonuses on these special items.. so just ask!

 

(and yes, keep them on ice back in the stateroom!)

Almost every cruise I have been on since 1999 has had the bucket special prominantly advertised at the pool bars, EXCEPT my most recent on Carnival Victory 3/28/04. This may have been a decision base on the number of 18-25 y/o I saw taking this cruise or a new policy. Don't know. Didn't personally care as I do foo foo drinks or wine. The result was I saw very few buckets on deck.

My husband just got the bucket of beer on the Imagination, it was 23.00 or so for four beers. That included the tip.

The cost depends on what type of beer that you order. I think Bud Light was like 11-13 bucks plus the tip. Corona was more like $18.00 I believe. There are four beers to a bucket. I do remember them running a happy hour on buckets during the cruise also.

Thanksgiving Legend Cruise

Will be on Destiny may 16th . Does anybody know if they still have the keg can of 1664 krounenbourg. This was really a good beer with the alcohol content of 6% if i remember right.

Was served in an ice bucket with it's own pouring spout and cups for serving.

Got off Holiday about 3 weeks ago and bucket of Coors Light was I believe $11.50.. My boyfriend would carry that silly looking bucket around everywhere!! He brought a bucket back to the cabin the first day and the steward always kept ice in it for us and my boyfriend would bring back any leftover cans and stick them in the ice bucket and have cold beer in the cabin..
