cruznut Posted February 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2006 Is it possile to rent jet skis in Bermuda? Are there group tours around the islands on the jet skis? Thank you.
RacerGirl8 Posted February 19, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2006 I bought a book called "Bermuda Guide" by Open Road Travel Guides They list the following: Due to safety issues and local objection to noise pollution there is only one company offering this activity. Call Club Wet and Wild, Castle Harbour Telephone 441/293-2543 or 441/234-2426 at the Royal Naval Dockyard. Expect to spend about $45 per single and $70 per double for each half hour. Reservations are required and children under 16 are not allowed to drive the wave runners. Hope this helps.
Swizzle v2.0 Posted February 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2006 Go to the Bermuda Yellow Pages (www.bermudayp.com) and look up "Jet Ski Rentals". There are six companies listed and I'm sure that most, if not all, give tours.
cruznut Posted February 20, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted February 20, 2006 Thank you so much. Let's hope I don't end up in Davey Jones' Locker!
Pleiades Posted February 23, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2006 I’ve never rented a Jet Ski myself but from what I’m told by visitors, many of the tours don’t allow you much freedom, you have to stay fairly close to the guide. I’d inquire about the level of freedom before making and reservations. That’s just me though; some people may enjoy a more structured tour.
