Four days until our NCL Bliss sailing, how to overcome travel anxiety?

Thank you all for your overwhelmingly kind and supportive responses.

It helped to know that I'm not the only one! I am not afraid of getting sick, I am afraid of not successfully jumping all the hurdles it takes to get onto the cruise ship whilst helping my patience-challenged husband manage not to lose his ever-lovin' $#@!.

We did our 72-hours before sailing antigen test today (one of the EMED online proctored BinaxNOW tests). Both negative!!! I went first, husband observed so he was able to learn from the places where I struggled a bit with the technology. Now I feel a lot more relaxed. We've taken a test, have some reassurance that things look clear, so now, it's back to the mundane pre-cruise stuff, packing, house cleaning, going to the bank, stopping the mail, drinking all the milk...

I'm bringing a large rolling duffel. If needed, I'll stuff your husband in there and tote him through the embarkation lines. 😆

Go visit family, life is too short not to.

Yep.  Appreciated.

Unfortunately, C19 was the least of my health issues in 2020.  Thereafter, the risk of C19 being very consequential stymied pretty much everything.

But the 'chin is up.  Delta appears to be ebbing.  Our boosters now taking root.  Expect to head back out to visit families again in a week to 10 days and booked flights for the holidays.

Cruising again is just a dream, an anticipation, for now, a nice dream and anticipation.  Really will miss MSC Seashore on a B2B in early December in the YC having left the deposit on the table.  Was looking forward to more NCL after a great 21-day Bliss in November of 2019.

Oh well, really enjoy the trip reports.

Again, thanks and appreciated.
