Looking at Royal's shore excursion offerings I can kinda understand why people stay on the boat... Not trying to be difficult, just saying I haven't seen a lot there that looks good and I'd love some tips. What have you done that is good? First off.....O-H....I-O !!!! It depends on what you want to do, age of group and budget. Grandkids liked the Pirates Museum, walkable from port. We have climbed the Queen's Staircase and give to Fort Fincastle, then walked to Greycliff Manor (didn't do Chocolate Tour) and then spent remainder of day at John Watkins Distillery. Short free tour & a couple of samples before enjoying some cocktails & free wifi. We have walked to the Tortuga Rum Cake store then walked across the bridge to Paradise Island. We have taken the water taxi to the Atlantis. We have walked to Junkanoo Beach for people watching, beach volleyball & their 4 beers/4 shots 4 $20. I also have used Stuart's Cove for scuba. Guess it just depends on your interests
