Hump Cabins and Concierge Club

Hi...We're considering booking hump cabins on our upcoming Explorer Cruise on Deck 9 behind the elevators and near the Concierge Club. Wondering if anyone had experience with these cabins and what the noise was like. We'd be trading in two cabins towards the aft on deck 8...any thoughts?

We've stayed in 9618 on the Navigator, 9624 on the Explorer and just came back from 9614 on the Mariner. We think this location is the best on the ship as it's only about 30 steps from the Concierge Lounge, right at the stairs/elevators and there is no noise from anything. We even traded an aft corner D1 (1688) for the JS 9614 on the Mariner after our friends had to cancel and we didn't need the huge balcony with 1688 anymore.

We will always try to get one of the hump cabins on deck 9 anytime we cruise on a Voyager class ship. We prefer port but will not turn down a starboard.

Sounds good and we're trying. We're especially concerned about noise since it seems such a central location and we've got a three year old who will be going to bed fairly early. But I guess it depends on the crowd you have (spring break cruise) and we may trade off noise for convenience.

We were in 9318 this past January on the Explorer of the Seas. We did not hear anything except one night around 11:00 some kids were running up and down the hall. That can happen anywhere. No noise from above or from anywhere else. Very quite.
