Dragoncruiser22 Posted October 27, 2021 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2021 Thank you to all who helped advise on my previous post. We have decided to stick with our Liberty cruise that is now stopping at Roatan and Playa Mia. For the Roatan stop we are very interested in doing the chocolate making shore excursion but are debating whether it is suitable for our then 3.5 yo to come with us. It looks like it is 3hrs total, have other people done it with toddlers?
bgoff60 Posted October 28, 2021 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2021 not really if you want to enjoy your time. We did it. It was fun and informative...and hands on. You do a lot of standing and listening to your guide. You also do the actual crushing of the cocoa bean and grinding it into the paste. Your 3.5 year old will not appreciate it and will likely get very fidgety and detract from your experience. YMMV. Also, there is a 10 minute walk to get to the 'workstation' where you do all the learning and getting instructed.
