Costa Maya Resort Beach Party

We've booked the Resort Beach Party through Island Marketing in Costa Maya. Has anybody done this excursion and if so, how did you get to the resort?

Go to taxi station at pier for Majaual. It's $3 per person. Bus will take you to taxi area in Majahual. You can walk (we did) or take taxi from there. On way back we walked back to taxi station -- shopping all the way and got taxi to pier $2 per person.

Approx. how far and how long a walk was it? thanks for your help.

it was maybe a 15 minute walk. You can shop along the way if you like. We were excited to just get there so we shopped on the way back. My friend was mad at us because some guy offered her $1/t-shirt if she bought then. We didn't let her stop so she paid more on the way back.

the bar is called Pesco Quadro(sp), i think. we went last year and had a blast but we had 100 people and andrew was our DJ for the day.

ask your cab driver to drop you off at that bar. if they won't then it is a 10 minute walk to the end of the beach bar row. they will then try and get you a cab back to pier when you are ready. it is a great excursion, food/drinks and service are great!!!
