We will be in St Thomas during our cruise at the end of January. I see there are options to snorkel with turtles but it doesn’t seem that Celebrity offers such an excursion?  Has anyone used a local company for this trip?  Suggestions please.

It may be worth checking  out the CC ports of call link for the Caribbean and click on St Thomas to see if any info is posted there.

We went on our own to Secret Harbor beach during our Nov cruise. It was a long taxi ride from the port and not much to see. The place to rent chairs & umbrellas was closed most of the day as it’s a dive shop and they were out on a dive excursion. Also, because the taxi was large & trip about 40 min the driver wanted to get others to join so you had to agree on a time for the return trip that worked for all parties. Just something to keep in mind.

We are currently on Apex. We stop in St. Thomas day after tomorrow. Celebrity is offering an excursion titled “Turtle Bay Sail & Snorkel Adventure.”  Although description refers to Turtle Cove, it doesn’t say anything specific about actually snorkeling with turtles.
