For the Nieuw Amsterdam cancelled cruises, what is HAL offering besides transfer to Rotterdam, as in refund?

Hi, we're booked on the NA for Feb. 19 and Feb. 26, 2022 cruises.  I'm aware NA is currently being used as a hospital ship for crew, and have seen earlier-in-Feb. cancellations, and now a March cancellation reported on CC.  Ours still appear for sale on the HAL web site, but I'm a little suspicious.  Just curious about what HAL is offering instead of transferring to the Rotterdam, as in complete refund, or?

Total refund of what you paid back to theway it was paid. AnY credits used and Perks will be used on a new booking

The compensation offer for the cancelled January 29 sailing is move your booking to "any Spring Caribbean sailing" (this Spring ??) and receive OBC, or fill out a form for a refund. 

These cancellations have definitely made people think long and hard about rebooking anything.

We are on the Feb. 19 sailing for two weeks, do you no for sure that it is cancelled?  We have not received any notice about it. Thanks.

The two cruises do NOT appear to be cancelled--Feb. 19 and Feb. 26 seem to be going as they were offered late yesterday as replacement cruises by a letter from Gus A. posted in another thread AND copied-and-pasted below, after we cancelled  our res. on the NA for the two cruises departing Feb. 19 and Feb. 26.  There were other issues related to family that caused us to have to cancel our cruises, darn it, on those two dates.  We had booked the two one-week cruises back to back. 

 

Please note that there seems to be an error in the letter--the first line in italics of the list says Nieuw Amsterdam - January 23, 2022--that line in italics appears as though it should have been deleted; it's misleading, and the first line of the list of alternate cruises appears to be 6-day Tropical Caribbean - Round Trip Ft. Lauderdale, if you look at how the list is supposed to read as displayed below the seeming "error."

 

For those booked and wondering about Jan/Feb and beyond sailing on the NA, this is the most recent update posted by a HAL cruiser....
