r4cents Posted February 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2006 When tendering in Playa del Carmen on the Grand, which pier do you tender to? If I read the answer previously in other posts I have blocked it from my limited memory! Thanks!
robtx100 Posted February 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2006 I only saw one pier there when we tendered a few weeks ago. At the end of the pier there were two resorts. Not sure if the pier has a name like the ones at Cozumel.
budaman Posted February 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 22, 2006 You are tendered to the Ultramar Pier. That pier is north of the Cozumel Ferry Pier. The ship positions a lot closer to the shore than I thought they would. Once underway on the tender it is at most a 10 minute ride. I'll try and post some pics when I get home. spongerob Posted February 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2006 We started at the Ultramar pier, then they decided to switch to the ferry pier because the winds were up and it took the first tender a long time to unload once we got to shore. I guess that doesn't really help, does it? :)
budaman Posted February 22, 2006 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2006 Thought I had a pic looking out from the pier but it is on the video & I haven't edited it yet. The 3 below are looking north, down Constitution Ave(translation) and from the beach just south of the pier.
