muchofamuchness Posted January 17, 2022 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2022 (edited) Hi everyone! I wonder if you can help me All of my previous cruises have been in the Caribbean so even when the water in the pool has been cold, it's been refreshing rather than unpleasant. This year, I'm (hopefully) doing a Norway and Iceland cruise on Sky Princess. Yes, it's in June/July, but we are going pretty far north so I don't imagine the swimming pools will get much chance to warm up (correct me if I'm wrong!). I would however like to take a swim on our sea days and would rather not freeze... Does anyone know if any/all of the pools on Sky Princess (or other Royal-class ships) can be heated, and if so, if Princess actually *do* heat them on far northern itineraries? Upper Bob Posted January 17, 2022 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2022 I have always found the pools to be heated when needed both on the Grand Class and Royal Class ships. Several times have used the pools on Alaska cruises. They are also all freshwater pools, compared to many other cruise lines who have saltwater pools.
