Coco cay beach club drink question

Recommended Posts

We booked at the beach club, and have the boozy package.  Are there roaming drink people, or will we need to go to the bar?  For food, can we have delivered to our chairs?  If there are roaming people to get us stuff, we plan on tipping $20 up front, and something else at the end- should we be doing more initially?

The roaming beverage servers will be happy to bring you drinks to your chair from either your drink package or Crown and Anchor free drinks.  We tipped them for each round.

Food is served sit down style in the open air restaurant.  Be sure to get a reservation for the time you want after you board the ship.  I think we did it at a specialty restaurant or you can call the dining reservation number.

Be sure you check your folio back on board as they don’t swipe your room key for drinks, they only write down the cabin number.  We had two incorrect drink charges from the island. We did get them fixed at guest services.

Thanks so much!  Had no idea we could reserve the beach restaurant 🙂

We had a great experience at the Beach Club in November. At your loungers, there is a flag you can put up if you need drinks. We did that once, the first time we needed new drinks. Each time after that, when our drinks were half-full a server would walk up and ask if we needed a new drink, and we both said yes. Then, before our fresh drinks would arrive, another server would appear to see if we needed a new drink. So, the moral of the story is, you will never have an empty drink!
