Le Dumont D'Urville anchored off Vigie Point,St.Lucia

The Dumont D`Urville has been in Port Castries since the 31st of January and last night the 4th.Feb.relocated to anchor just off the Point of Land near Castries Harbour. Apparently the last Cruise was cancelled and why it has resorted to anchoring and particularly so very close to the Point is anybody's guess. Hopefully Ponant is not in financial distress as just happened to Crystal Cruises?...anyone have any feedback on this?

The Pinault family's pockets are quite deep. I would doubt Ponant is in any financial trouble. Too many staff members quarantining because of being postive to covid or being in contact with a positive person are a more likely cause of the cancellation.

The February 1 cruise was indeed canceled (https://de.calameo.com/read/0001324239056950942aa), but the February 13 cruise is still showing as confirmed (https://fr.calameo.com/read/000132423cf461dcaf716?authid=BIZNrwBnxZY5). It would be nice if Ponant gave the same information on all of their websites.
