FUNKY MONKEY TOURS

Just got back from 8 nights on Allure of the Seas. We planned a tour through these guys about a week before the cruise because we were waiting to make sure what Covid protocol was on this port.  Long story short…tour was fantastic.  We did the one on Nevis.  They have a couple of options which included guided tour driving your own Polaris (or similar type) side by side or choosing to be driven in one that seats 6 including driver (but would be tight for 5 adults plus driver).

I first spoke with the owner Greg back in December but he said to wait until it got closer because of Omicron and some ports turning ships away back then.  Reached back out late January and chose the tour guide driven one.  He had a driver pick us up at the port, took us to Cockleshell Beach to catch a ferry over to Nevis where we were picked up by our guide, Justin.  Justin was a great guy, funny and very knowledgeable.   You do go off the beaten path and up to a very beautiful point to overlook the island.  Even though off road, it was a surprisingly smooth ride. Our tour included a cooler full of beverages including water, beer, and rum with some mixer options.  We saw some beautiful places, flora and fauna, lots of donkeys, sheep goats and even a few monkeys! and spectacular views.  By the end of the tour we felt like Justin was a old friend.

I highly recommend this company/tour if your looking for a fun adventure!  They have a website, funky monkey tours dot com, if I’m allowed to say that. Has all the tour info and pricing. They also have a tour on St. Kitts if you don’t want to hop over to Nevis.

We struggled with what to do for this port stop and so glad we found these guys.  We will definitely book them next time as well so we can see more of their beautiful island.
