twaal Posted February 16, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 16, 2022 Good Morning. I read that France is changing their covid requirements for US travelers entering France. If you are fully vaccinated and have a booster, they are ending the covid testing requirement before you leave the US. I wonder if all their territories will be included. That would save $299 for the rapid test I have to take 24 hrs before leaving the country.
twaal Posted February 16, 2022 Author #2 Share Posted February 16, 2022 COVID. On February 12, France’s entry rules changed. Fully vaccinated travelers coming from any green or orange nation, including the United States (as well as minor children under 12) no longer require a covid test to enter France, and may enter with proof of vaccination and a sworn statement they do not have symptoms of COVID-19 nor contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19. As of February 1, French authorities require a traveler age 18 and over to receive a booster dose of an mRNA vaccine no later than 9 months after the second dose (the single dose for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine) to be considered “fully vaccinated” for entry into France. Note: People wo received their booster more than nine months after their second dose may still enter, so long as one week has passed after they received their booster shot. Rare gdlamberth Posted February 16, 2022 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2022 The new entry requirements on the Tahiti tourism web site now says "fully" vaccinated visitors only need to have a negative Antigen test 24hrs prior to boarding flight to Tahiti. I would have guessed an Antigen test would be less than $299; I know they're only $80 at LAX as you enter the TBI terminal.
twaal Posted February 16, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted February 16, 2022 IT is less. However thinking that we had to have the rapid CRP test 24 hrs before leaving , I booked one at home and they charged me $299. The antigen was $135. Im afraid to rebook the antigen in case they change it again.
