WESTEAST Posted February 23, 2022 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2022 Today, we received Oceania's 2023 Collection of Voyages brochure which is a hefty 272 pages. Reviewing it, we noted that not all of the Vista ship's itineraries are included. As an example, our June cruise could not be found; it is in the 2023 Europe and North America brochure. We didn't check the other ships' itineraries. Interesting that O would produce such a large brochure and it not include all 2023 itineraries. Covering letter is from Howard Sherman so perhaps it is a way of introducing himself to Oceania Club members. We typically go online to research new itineraries but, will often use the brochures as reference (also, know that we can request not to receive these marketing booklets). We realize that many posters complain about the abundance of O brochures and it is not the intention of this post to unfurl these complaints. Rare pinotlover Posted February 23, 2022 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2022 (edited) In the golden old days, Oceania often completely dropped cruises that was completely waitlisted from their advertising. There were cruises that didn’t even appear on the internet. Sold out and removed from advertising. Nothing new here. Why waste advertising space on something with nothing to sell? If after final payment, and the wait list cleared, if cabins became available they’d advertise the cruise again. On some cruises the waitlist never cleared and the cruises weren’t advertised.
