What to do before the cruise?

Hi, we are leaving on the Caribbean Princess out of Fort Lauderdale on Oct 7 for our honeymoon. The wedding will be the week before on Oct 1. We have the week off in between and looking to do something near the Fort Lauderdale area. Any suggestions? We would be leaving Rochester, NY on Oct 3. and then staying in the Marriott North (Princess pre-cruise package) the night of the 6th. So that leaves two full days somewhere.

You might want to rent a car and drive down to Key West if you haven't ever been there. There are many romantic B&B's that would be great for honeymooners. There are also lots of bars and places to eat as well as the more typical tourist stuff like Hemmingway's house or the sunset ceremony at Mallory Square.
