NY Skipper's Club Question

Last year my wife and I went on the the Legend out of NYC and all we got out of the Skippers club was Priority Check In after waiting in line with everyone else and asking for the Skippers Club, we were sent to the same table that they used to to check in Special Needs Passengers. We were then sent to the seating area with everyone else. So all we got out of it was the fast check in.

Our question is have they made any changes to The Skppers Club in NYC? The Carnival webpage page says Skippers club entitles you to Priority Check In and Boarding.

I have the same question ...we are going on the legend on 10/6 for our two year anniversary ....we splurged for a cat 11 with a wrap around balconey .....would love it if we could board without waiting in a huge line
