Doc Dancing Going on in Kansas City

Got them docs today! We leave on the Triumph in 30 days. Fly to Miami the day we leave (going KC to Atlanta to Miami) and arrive just after 12 noon, so it all looks like it's really going to happen!!

Our room on our docs are still listed as GUARA and our baggage tags say TBA, but at least I know for sure we're going!!

(I can also stop being jealous of everyone getting to do the dance!)

Got a question, though.

Looking at the cover of the packet, it lists...

Ship...

Sailing...

Booking...

Cabin- Guaranteed Category 8A

Dep City...

Embark...

Skipper's Club-VIP Check In

Guests...

Does this mean we get the VIP check in??

Wish the doc dance was going in this part of Kansas City.

:( Sadly, no upcoming cruises for this Kansas Citian.

Same here...Living and working in Kansas City so I can afford to cruise.

Maybe next summer...with DW and 5 DD's (Yes, 5...that's not a typo). Ages 5-15.

Was on the Triumph in 2004 and LOVED IT. It was our first cruise and we were celebrating our 15th. DW's cousin was celebrating her 25th. It was our first, but definitely not our last. We got caught in Ft. Lauderdale when Wilma blew through last Oct, and turned our 8 day So. Carib. into a 6 day E. Carib. on the Legend (our 2nd cruise). I'm trying to decide if driving to Galveston is doable for a family vacation on the Conquest for next summer (our possibly 3rd cruise).

VIP (A.K.A. Skipper's Club) is only extended to those booked in Suites. I don't believe an 8A is a suite, but if it is, then you're in!

Good Luck

I got out our docs from last year, also the Triumph. Everything looks similar, except the Skipper's Club/VIP part!

Would be great if we got bumped up to a suite. We leave on my birthday, and we are celebrating (about 2 months late) our 20th wedding anniversary!

That's funny, we live in the KC area (we're in the North part), and we've got 6 kids...5 are boys and 1 girl. My girl is 8 and the 5 boys are from ages 6-19. Maybe we ought to get them together!
