longhorn2004 Posted March 11, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2022 https://www.carnival.com/cruise-ships/carnival-jubilee.aspx So does that mean Terminal One will get a major redo soon as stated in the Port's long range plans? Terminal one now cannot handle 5K+ pax at a time.
SCBarker Posted March 15, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2022 I've been running under the assumption that it would share the new terminal with the Oasis-class ships, like they share terminals now.
Lane Hog Posted March 15, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 15, 2022 The "new" Terminal 3 opening this fall is exclusively for RCL. That in theory opens up room at the Terminals 2 for Norwegian, Carnival and the just announced Princess sailings. I'd think that they'd build the fourth terminal in the port's long term plan before committing to a renovation of either T1 or T2. You can't remodel without having somewhere else to go. SCBarker Posted March 16, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2022 Is terminal 1 or terminal 2 big enough for Prima or Jubilee?

Liberty of the Seas is only slightly smaller than the Excel Class for Carnival (1111 ft vs 1130 ft) and is homeported at T2. That's negligible with the open space at either end of the existing docks. People & bags? 4900 for Liberty, 6500 max for Excel class, so.... that might be a stretch but you can handle that with a longer boarding window.
