Anyone use TourByLocals in Aruba

Any feedback on booking a private tour through TourByLocals in Aruba?

 

We want to use a local tour company and create our own set of stops on the tour.

 

Any suggestions?

Hi,

In 2017 I did a private tour of Aruba with Tourbylocals.  I thought it was excellent and worth the price.  I was able to see what I wanted.  I also learned a lot about Aruba during the tour.

Did you end up doing this?  We are looking at Tour By Locals as well. I will be an 83 year old friend, so alot of the walking is out of the question.

We  did not book with them. We were trying to get some questions answered ahead of time; it took too long to get answers back. We actually took a taxi and asked him to take us to several places we wanted to see. He was very knowledgeable about Aruba.

If you wouldnt mind sharing, did you find excellent value for the price you were charged?  How much should I expect it to cost?

As I recall you could hire a taxi for about $50 per hour. There is a line of taxis waiting at the port so it is luck of the draw. We knew where we wanted to go and our taxi driver was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Go to Aruba dot com. They have a list of taxi regulations including the costs to common destinations.
