Explorer. Cash?

Hi, sailing on explorer in a few weeks.

I know the boat is cashless and it's all charged to your account and paid by card.

But in the past I've gone to reception and paid off any charges using cash.

Is that still possible during Covid times?

Hi Obiwan.

I can’t answer your question about paying cash onboard to clear your account but I tend use my credit card or debit card and sort it out when I get home it saves  carrying a wad of cash through the airports etc which are prime targets for pickpockets.

you can get a printout of what you owe at reception anytime if you need to keep an eye on what you are being charged for.

You can leave a £200 deposit in cash and then top this up if necessary. I am on-board on the moment and read it in the cruise news.
