Which Side of Ship

Can someone who has done the roundtrip Hawaii/South Pacific Islands cruise from California an opinion about which side of the ship is better for a balcony.  Is it too warm to want sun on the balcony (I like 70's and low 80's).  I spend a lot of time on the balcony on sea days.  Any other considerations?  Thanks in advance.
