Diving on WindSpirit 5/4

experienced diver - First time in South Pacific 

Tahiti, Fakavara, Rangiroa, Tasha, Raitea, BoraBora, Huahine, Morea 

 

in a group of 4 but no one else dives.  
What would be 2 of the best places to go out and dive?

I don’t want to leave the group every day

Better to dive w Windstar excursion or set up independent?

I'm not a diver, however we snorkeled with H2O Bora Bora and it was outstanding. There are also many 5 star reviews for dive trips with them. The Bora Bora lagoons are outstanding! We had divers and huge manta rays below us on one of our stops. Can't imagine what it must have been like from the diver's perspective. Graceful creatures.
