"Do not upgrade" question

Help! We were upgraded from our E407 deluxe balcony obstructed (which I know has a larger angled balcony with no real obstruction and 303  sq. Feet) to M507 (which is one deck below the pastry shop of the Horizon Bistro and 233 sq, feet). I am worried about possible noise in the new location and don’t know whether the Marina deck balconies have a roof. Should I keep my old room and not accept the upgrade?

I have heard them called Meta Upgrades as well, however if your booking is marked "no Upgrade" does that rule out all upgrades? I would never want an upgrade across the same cabin type but would obviously take an upgrade from balcony to mini suite. However can your booking state you only would consider a meta upgrades only? I didn't think you could.

My upcoming cruise we have a balcony cabin booked and there are not many left but heaps of mini suites.

You can call and ask for "Meta Upgrade ONLY".
