CruisinRach Posted April 8, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2022 FYI, for anyone with little ones I just noticed that the fee for 2-4 yr olds has been lowered… As part of the health screening process, unvaccinated guests (age 2 and older) must also take an antigen test at embarkation. On cruises longer than 4 days, guests will be tested again within 24 hours of debarkation. All guests traveling on back to back cruises will need to be tested in between voyages. Irrespective of voyage length, testing and reporting charges of US$60 per person for children age 2-4, and US$150 per person for guests age 5 and older, will be assessed on the guest’s onboard Sail & Sign account.
kelkel2 Posted April 8, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2022 Well that’s a little more reasonable!
atlantatransplant Posted April 8, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 8, 2022 Hah! Just got off the Sunshine...paid the $150 for my 3 year old. Oh well. But glad to hear that it is lowered for other future cruisers. Also, the 2nd test on board was a 5 minute rapid test. I don't know why they can't use those for getting onboard...which is the 15 minute test. I'd rather get on faster!
