Seashore YC Smoking Area

Reading reviews, there appears to be different reports as to the location of the smoking area on the Yacht Club pool deck (20), port or starboard. Since we are on deck 19, we would not want the smell of smoke on our balcony. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Smoking are in the One pool area is definitely on the starboard side.  It is limited to the area on the right past the bar area.  I suppose technically it could extend further back, but ashtrays are only put out near the chaises past the bar as well as at the tables for diners on that side.

We were in 19026, and noticed no smoke odor.  That is roughly under the seating by the pool.  Maybe someone who was directly below the smoking area (say 19008 to 19014) may have some better insight.  My thinking is you would only have a chance of noticing smoke if the ship was in port, given the tendency of smoke to rise and the effect of the wind.

 

You'd be safer for sure on the port side, but then would miss the view in Ocean Cay.
