Cabin Bumping

The way it was explained to me is the earlier you book the better chance of an upgrade, as the sail date gets closer more people book, the lower decks usually fill up fast those who booked early get bumped to a different catagory, you probably won't know what room you have until you check in. My brothers first cruise was with us 2 years ago, he booked an inside room riviera deck 1, (cheapest rooms) when we checked in they had bumped him all the way up to deck 4 in an outside cabin. It is always a great suprise for the first time cruiser to be bumped to a better room.
