cheekie Posted February 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2006 Does anyone know what criteria decides on if you will get bumped up to better cabin? And when do you find out? Thanks!

RevSmith Posted February 26, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 26, 2006 It's usually the luck of the draw, but being a steady customer sometimes makes your chances better.
caribbean dreams Posted February 26, 2006 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2006 The way it was explained to me is the earlier you book the better chance of an upgrade, as the sail date gets closer more people book, the lower decks usually fill up fast those who booked early get bumped to a different catagory, you probably won't know what room you have until you check in. My brothers first cruise was with us 2 years ago, he booked an inside room riviera deck 1, (cheapest rooms) when we checked in they had bumped him all the way up to deck 4 in an outside cabin. It is always a great suprise for the first time cruiser to be bumped to a better room.
