I'm not sure if you're asking about disembarkation or walking around in Italy and Spain ? During disembarkation, it is mandatory to wear a mask. In Italy, it is mandatory to disembark with a KN95 mask.

Once outside, in Italy you don't have to wear a mask except in shops and in France and Spain you don't have to wear a mask anywhere.

Has anyone used NCL airfare but stayed in a hotel of your choice?

I used NCL airfare and we are staying at Barcelona Hilton which is the hotel they use but also was my hotel of choice so it worked out.

They booked us into Hotel Barcelona. They must use more than one hotel

We sail 31st July. Our app only shows Burn the Floor and Howl at the Moon for entertainment only.

Did your app show Priscilla? Ours do isn’t and we’re hoping this doesn’t mean that Priscilla won’t be on our cruise and that it’s just because it is so far out!

How was the NCL post cruise/pre flight home testing handled?  Did you sign up for a time slot?  Did they give you printed results or email results?

 

it’s probably the only thing that worries me about this cruise.  We leave next week.  We have all the pre cruise testing taken care of.  But, the thought of testing positive at the end of the cruise and then having to figure out what to do in Spain weighs heavy.

Thank you for confirming no test at the pier. And yet, you're required to register for one when you check in.... and their "chat" agent said we have to test again at the pier in Rome...At any rate, looking forward to our cruise in 19 days!

I dont see any daytime live music at waves. Is this  true? Always had a couple of live music sessions daily.

Pool area was just music through speakers no live music apart from sailaway which was only ar Barcelona

Just read something that said all of the restaurants and stores down town (all locations) only accept tap versions of credit cards now.  Did anyone else experience this?  Last time we traveled, chip cards were fine.  But, that was pre-COVID.

So, since we don't know exactly when we can get off the ship nor the All Aboard time in advance....how are you all planning these excursions?  I am afraid to book anything for fear that I will miss the start of it OR not be back to the ship on time! Thanks!

We booked our excursions through NCL.  I know you can find them cheaper by booking on your own.  But, we’re a group of eight and when we booked, all excursions were still limited to those provided by the cruise line.  The added Benny is they don’t leave without you! 😉

Have a look at the Shore Excursion form on post #36 this may help with timing's. Reputable companies should be flexible but if your not willing to take the risk book with NCL.

You are correct there was nothing in H20 at night it may still be to cold in all honesty in Europe for these events. Maybe someone stateside could share if any events took place in H20 while she was in US waters as this was only 2nd cruise in Europe
