If you were on Vision of the Seas....

Recommended Posts

.....Thursday evening, Feb. 23rd, you may have noticed all of us on land with our eyes popping out as we watched that beautifully lit ship sail so close to shore past our hotels and resorts! In all the years we've been going to Puerto Vallarta I've never seen a cruise ship leave that port in any other fashion except sailing straight out of Banderas Bay into the Pacific. But this night the Captain must have gotten permission for a special detour and sailed the ship slowly and majestically past the hotel zone and downtown Puerto Vallarta and the Malecon and then sounded the horn and headed for sea. It was quite a treat and a surprise for those of us on shore (and for a number of night fishermen in their small boats). I hope you all had a wonderful cruise!
