Roll Call/M&M --same?

:confused: Can anyone tell me about Roll Call, Meet and Mingle, Cruise Critic onboard gatherings etc.? We think that we would like to get involved with some of these for our upcoming Aug.26 Baltic Cruise. But we are not quite sure how to go about it.

 

:confused: I am not sure but I think that Roll Call is simply listing your ship/sail date and name on a thread, and that you have to sign up somehow for a CC onboard gathering which I think is the same as a Meet and Mingle.

 

:confused: I do not know whether you need to be on Roll Call in order to do the CC onboard meeting, or whether you do a Roll Call in order to find someone else who may be interested in similar tours or whatever...

Took your advice and signed up on the Celebrity/cuisecritic connections. So, as I understand it, we are now signed up with the ship for a possible CruiseCritic shipboard gathering. But is that what is meant by Roll Call, too?

Go to the front page, http://boards.cruisecritic.com/, scroll down, and you will see an entire section called 'Roll Calls'. Go to Celebrity, then Constellation, and look for your cruise.

There used to be a blinking red Celebrity Connections button to click to sign up but it has not been showing up on any of my screens. Are the rest of you seeing the sign up button?

Phyllis, I still have the flashing button to go directly to the sign up for CC parties. Do you have pop up ads blocked? I think that might block the window from appearing.
