Better Late than Pregnant, Horizon mini-review, mostly pic dump time waste 3/5/22.

I was on Panorama in February…. absolutely loved it!!  My old itinerary too!!

This was a fantastic review.  Loved it.  You are definitely our kind of cruiser. 

We've been debating what trip we will take in November.  I was thinking we might do a cruise and not even get off at ports so was looking for a different ship experience.  I was even considering Havana (or MSC Yacht Club for a short trip) but after reading this, I think we are sold on an ABC cruise. 

How was the Havana interior?  Worth it?

We did this same cruise on 4-29/5-6. We had a Havana Interior and Loved it. It was extra dark so set an alarm if you have to get up early. On the 1st sea day we slept until about 9:30, because it was so dark. The Havana pool are is awesome, by the end of the cruise you will have meet several new friends.

The ABC Islands were just as wonderful as TxTeach is describing and the pictures do not do justice to the blue seas. 

I highly suggest you do this cruise.

Can't recommend the ABCs enough... @Atx lady is spot on, the pictures don't do it justice!

 

We were in a standard interior on this sailing, but I'd be all over trying a Havana room someday!

Not gonna lie. Dont love La Romana. We went hard yesterday. I love having ship days when everyone is off. Sooooo, here’s La Romana. This is what I’ve got.

Awesome! I used to teach near there, but we moved to FL. 
 

I feel that comment about the end of the school year- it becomes an exhausting vortex of time.

You need to come back and finish.  We ended up booking a slightly different itinerary.  AB G? Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, Aruba and Bonaire.  Told DH about your review and Aruba, he said he's wanted to go so it was on.  We found this itinerary and the timing worked better.  We both love Grand Turk and I really loved HMC.  Deposit was paid today. 

So now I need to know what to do in Bonaire.

Bonaire, my suggestion would be to stay aboard the ship.

No way, man! DO NOT stay on the ship if you love to snorkel or dive! Bonaire is a snorkeler's and diver's paradise!! At least 40 places where you can just wade in from shore and see some of the best reef and fish in the Caribbean!! Take the Sea Cow water taxi out to Klein Bonaire. If they still do it, ask them to drop you offshore. Then swim in close, and the easy current will float you down to the little beach area. Then wait for the water taxi to come back and pick you up and take you back to town. You'll be amazed at the beauty and may get lucky and see some turtles!

Thanks for the review! We are looking to book the same itinerary in the spring. My only complaint is you mixing Blanton’s with soda!! 😱😉

Another great and enjoyable review!  You are getting me so excited about our upcoming Cruise.. 15 days and counting!  I have to say eating at Ji Ji's (I've never been, but I'm thinking asian cuisine, and seafood heavy) hungover gave my tummy a little flip flop... I absolutely couldn't handle that, and I am a big seafood lover lol  We have reservations there one night and I was already a little stressed my boys won't be big fans... seeing your pictures I now know for certainty they won't be lol 🤷‍♀️ Oh well, it's not all about them lol we also have steakhouse resos which is right up their alley! And regardless, this will give them the perfect opportunity for guilt free late night burgers or pizza!  Haha!
