Concierge Lounge Explorer of the Seas

Can someone give me the scoop about the Concierge lounge on the Explorer please. We have a junior suite booked and are thinking about upgrading to the Grand Suite for more space and access to the lounge.

Are cocktails available? Included or cost? Food available?

Thanks:D

Was on Voyager of the Seas in September. Had a Grande Suite. The concierge was great. You will receive a letter from the Concierge prior to your cruise it will be a letter giving you a run down on what is offered in a suite. But you will get full access to the Concierge Lounge (there will be 2 keys waiting for you in your stateroom). The Lounge is a quaint room with hard wood flooring , leather chairs , small sofa's and cocktail tables. There is a wet bar with all kinds of glasses (wine, rock, pilsner), liquor, wine(white red or rose) , ice, and mixers. There is also cappacino machine (automatic one that will make froth on it's own). the machine also makes reg and decaf coffee , hot chocolate, and espresso. The cappacino machine is available 24 hours. There are two mini fridges that contain wine, beer, soda and water(bottled). This is locked when the concierge isn't there. The concierge is there i believe 8-10 in the morning (they have a continental buffett - fresh fruit , danish and cheeses) and in the evening from 5-8:30 (this is when you get the free alcoholic drinks and appetizers - fresh fruit, veggie tray, petite fores, chocolate covered strawberrys and hot appetizers). The concierge will help arrange diff things for you. Things like reservations at Portofino's, get you tickets to the ice show, and arrange different excursions. He/She will also help arrange a party in your suite (If you choose to). You have access to all of the weeks menus in the dinning room . Menu to Portofino's. There are dvd's that you can take to play in your room (about 100 diff movies). And some concierges will go above and beyone. Ours got us a seat at the Captains table and friends of ours were looking for white chocalate covered strawberries and she got a whole plate for him. I believe that is all . Oh wait we also got an invitation to have a private skating lesson with the actual stars of the skating show. So you get quite a bit and it's really worth it. It really saved us a lot on our bar bill since we had our wine in the Lounge. Hope this helps
