Panama Canal Stamps & mailing postcards

In a Princess Coral thread I read the following:

"Send postcards from the canal and not the other ports. I sent mine from a few of the ports and the cards from Mexico never made it! the cards from the canal did. the postage was cheaper and the 25 cent postcard stamp has a cool picture of the canal on it!"

I will be doing the partial transit in April on the Coral & would like very much to purchase both postcards and these stamps (to have & to use). Where in the pier area, it's Cristobal I think, can you purchase the Panama stamps and mail postcards? I will be staying on the ship for the partial transit and expect to be able to visit the pier area.

Thanks

they sell the Panama postcards and Panamanian stamps in the gift shops on the coral princess...the day before you reach port, they will sell the stamps for the port and have a drop box on the ship....Princess sends the cards for you from Panama (and the other ports). my postcards made it just fine!
