Booked for MSC Fantasia Mediterranean cruise in October 2022 , does anyone know for sure if Travel insurance is mandatory and what type ? Even if you are fully vaccinated?

It is not really clear on the MSC website.

Thank You

Unless they changed in the last few days, it is mandatory, regardless of vaccination status.  We get on a cruise Monday.  With everything we've gone through to get ready, I am very glad to have the reassurance of the insurance.

On the Seaview in the Med now. Even though MSC specifies that you require medical, trip interruption and cancellation insurance, when looking at our insurance documents, they only seemed to focus on seeing the word “Covid” mentioned, which they circled. They really didn’t look through the rest of the policy (though we had bought the one recommended by them for Canadians).
