Escape's Casino - poker?

Hi all,

I'll be sailing on the Escape on the June 30th sailing to Italy and Greece, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether the casino on the Escape features poker. Not 'three card poker' or 'Ultimate Texas Hold' em) (which are both poker-based casino games where the player plays against the house), but actual poker (Texas hold'em), where you play against other passengers. I have been on the Star in 2016 and there was actual poker there. I've also been on a couple celebrity ships and they always had poker too, although it's been a couple years.

I tried googling this but couldn't find the answer!

If the answer to my question is positive I do have three other questions:

-is the poker game with a dealer or on an electronic table where no dealer is required?

-what are the table stakes (the blinds and the min/max buyin)?

-do they also run tournaments!/Sit-and-Gos?

Thanks in advance!

Live dealer, not the crappy machines that CCL has.

Yes 3-card and Ultimate (one of the WORST odds games in a casino), stakes vary but usually about $10

They have tournaments a couple of days not really a sit and go per 'se.

The level of poker play is usually quite low.  Many players are the "I've seen this on TV let me give it a whack" type or way to drunk to be playing poker.

You are welcome behind

This sounds great! Maybe I'll look into playing. I never played on a cruise, because I hate losing money...but I've been known to clear a table by taking everyone's chips. This sounds like the odds will be in my favor.

There was a guy on one of my cruise who would call ANY bet of had an ace in his hand no matter the second card.  He would call an all in with ace-rag every time.  so He has position on me I'm holding QJ diamonds and made a pre-flop raise and of course he calls.  Flop was K-10-9 diamonds.  🙂  He lost a LOT of money of on that hand with hiis ace-4 hitting a 4 on the turn.
