Driving and Parking at Garage G (next to Terminal V)

For those of you who have driven to Port Miami and parked in Garage G next to Terminal V, how was it getting into the Port and to the garage with embarkation day traffic? We will be coming in on a Friday with a 12:30pm check-in time so we could be in the midst of the embarkation 'rush.' I'm just trying to gauge what time to get to the port so we can get through the traffic and over to Garage G. And I'm assuming we just walk from Garage G to the Terminal? Thanks in advance!

I have never found traffic to be a problem since thy built the tunnel if you take turnpike exit to I 95 south don't exit at 2nd go I-95 to the

 FL-887 exit from MacArthur Causeway,

Continue on FL-887/Port Miami Tunnel.FYI both exits are on you left so stay in left lane.Take N Cruise Blvd to N America Way to

(2.1 mi).

We parked in Garage G for both of our voyages (one from F, one from V) and it was very easy in and out both times.
