Marella Return

Returning to Marella after some time away. Explorer 14 nights Canaries in November and Explorer again with Greek Isles/Adriatic, a dream itinerary July 23.

No solo balcony cabin so I have an outside on deck 5 which is a OK location that I have used before.

 

I have difficulty in understanding why Marella don't allow single occupancy of any cabin, after all they are all the same and the outside singles are in fact doubles.😕

It’s does defy logic when they are prepared to do that.🤷‍♂️
Also they have no problem putting extra pax in rooms that they sell normally for double occupancy.

I am also on the Iconic Islands followed by Adriatic Explorer but its July 22nd. Also travelling solo so will be on Deck 4 or 5. 

 

I will be the old Welsh bloke with a beard and a walking stick.

I managed twice to get the only solo balcony cabin on the lovely Dream. Gosh, I miss her.

Oops, I meant July 2023. Iconic Islands followed by Adriatic Explorer. I fly out on the 7th July and back on the 21st July. Are you going this year?

Weren't they next to the Casino ?

 

I found the best solo cabin on Dream was on deck 10, very quiet next to the gym, the solo cabins at the stern were very noisy, the cabin vibrations literally had you bouncing off the walls.

  

Dave, I am on the 2022 cruise, I will let you know how it goes.

Yes, it was near the casino although I never went to it.
