SUMMIT Questions

Recommended Posts

Hello - and if I may add another question on this topic….how early does one need to get there to insure parking in the garage (vice in an outdoor lot)?  We are on the Summit in July.  Thank you.

There's no guarantee to getting in the garage since there are other RCCL ships homeported in Bayonne.  But, I would get there no later than 10am or earlier to see if you can get one of the slots vacated by someone on the previous sailing.

Thank you…and concur there is ‘no guarantee’.  I am just trying to do some ‘expectation management’ in my head.  A friend of mine was on an early May Summit sailing that got there around noon and didn’t have an issue with Garage parking.    Now that we are about to start Sunday to Sunday sailings, I wanted to get a read on the current situation.    Thanks again.

Thanks. Good to hear. Time? (In ft lauderdale the line starts around 1030 a.m.)

We had a car service drop us off about 11:30, waited only a few minutes to check in and then walked right onto the ship. Our check in time was 11:30 - 12.   Very easy.
