  1. Does anyone know who the CD will be on the Apex in April?
  2. This sounds just like us. Steve, how do I get in touch with you without going thru CC? Phone number? Email? Evelyn
  3. Is there a way to reach you to answer the questions without going thru Cruise Critic?
  4. Steve, As we take more than one cruise a year, it would make sense to get an annual policy rather than just one per cruise. What do you recommend for us--we are both in our mid 70's and in good health right now.
  5. Norris, I just loved your review and pictures of Norway. We have a trip to Norway planned for next year. Were most of your excursions private or booked thru Celebrity? I also followed your review of Cuba. We were on Azamara Journey in March and Cuba was our first port. Both threads were just excellent and very informative. Maybe we will sail together in the future. Evelyn
  6. Does this $14 pp per day apply to suites? The bev package is one of the perks given to suites. As suites are already paying a huge amount over a regular cabin, I certainly hope Celebrity doesn't expect to charge an additional amount for this so called free perk.
  7. We have had Sue Denning several times on the Eclipse & think she is a wonderful CD. She is visible and does a fantastic one woman show. You are lucky to have her on the Silhouette.
  8. Rarely in the last few years do any ships sail with many empty cabins. Sometimes people do have an emergency at the last minute so their cabins might become available & stay empty.
  9. We have done a New England/Canada cruise with an overnight in Quebec City twice on Celebrity Summit out of Bayonne. Their last cruise of the season is in October. It is a wonderful cruise which we did enjoy. Email me if you have any questions. Evie
  10. We have rarely been successful getting any OBC--always some excuse why it isn't available to us. Maybe with the new restructure things will be easier. On an upcoming Royal cruise which was booked early this year, they said we got a Diamond discount so no OBC. Actually, I booked 4 cabins for my whole family and still nothing.
  11. I never heard of this either. Where did you find this information?
  12. I hope Lisa will reply to your question. We were on the Edge and have the Apex booked in the exact same cabin. There are a few things which could be improved--all were mentioned on our eval card.
  13. Very well said.....we also booked the Apex for the same reason. We are retired & still have lots to see on our bucket list.
