NorthbyNorthwest Posted June 20, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2022 How far in advance can you book this benefit? Any advice on getting a massage in the Spa (times of day preferred, etc.)?
dalliowner Posted June 21, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2022 On our cruise in January you could not book on line and was told you had to wait until on board but I emailed the club a few days before leaving and they contacted the ship direct with our request for a booking on the second day , and that worked. MJN1 Posted June 21, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2022 You can also choose any (longer) massage you like and they will deduct the value of this massage from the invoice.

babydoc2 Posted July 9, 2022 #5 Share Posted July 9, 2022 The benefit includes the 25 minute "Signature Massage". If both you and your traveling companion have this benefit but only one wants a massage, they will generally let you combine into one 50 minute massage for one person. You will need to arrange this on board.

Ultimately it is up to the discretion of the spa manager, but please don't count or insist on this.

That has nothing to do with it; tips is usually based on % of the value of service rendered, so tips for a 50-min massage is typically twice that of a 25-min massage, obviously. Rather, they are hoping guests will upgrade their free 25-min massage by tagging on another 25 paid minutes (or increments of 25 minutes) to make it a longer massage. Many guests do this. Two free 25-min massages may turn into two 50-min massages (with half of each chargeable). On the other hand, a combined 50-min massage (with 2 free 25-minutes) will result in no incremental spa revenue.
