ft. Lauderdale Hotel pre cruise HELP

Would like to know of Hotel that is close to port and you are able to walk to Malls or places to eat

In FLL, anything close to the airport is probably going to be close to the pier.

 

Last trip we spent a horrible night at the Comfort Inn on Stirling. We won't make that mistake a secone time.

 

Next December we'll be spending a night at the LaQuinta Inn. I've always had good luck with LaQuinta's and this one has pretty consistantly good ratings. They have Shuttle pick up at the airport until (I think) 11:00 PM. They list a Red Lobster and a Dave and Busters as nest door to the LaQuinta which, if true, works well for us.

 

From the LaQuinta I plan on taking a cab to the pier.
