Precruise testing - have I done too much?

I've arranged a video call for my Covid test before boarding MSC. Did I need the video call? I done that with Royal Caribbean but someone just told me I don't need the video call part?

Which port and where are you going, it can depend a lot on this. As US cruises can have different requirements to European

My understanding is that self tests without the video are okay, if accompanied with a certificate (from thr UK)
