Jade September .. 02/10/2022 return .. 22.45 flight

We arrive back to Athens on October 2nd  and our flight home is not until 22.45  .. allowing for transport to the airport , check in etc it's a very long day after leaving the ship.

 

NCL offers a short tour then straight to the airport .. but still too soon for us.

 

There must be other passengers with late flights ... any experience of this ?   thanks

We planned for the eventuality.  Take X80 from the port to downtown, store your luggage, sightsee Athens, have a dinner, pick up your luggage, and head to the airport either on Metro or on X95 bus.  (We took the X80-X95 sans sightseeing as we had a 14:30 flight).

Thanks, we will see if the  pre cruise hotel can store our luggage for a few hours then take a taxi from there to the airport .

I'll also see if NCL have any extended tours on the 2nd October.

Yes, I think that this is a good idea (with sufficient tips), especially if you tell them ahead of time.  However, you need to make sure that your hotel is close to Syntagma Square.  Carrying your baggage any long distances just to get to a hotel may get tiring.
