kenandlinda Posted February 28, 2006 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2006 Our TA called and Royal Caribbean has a senior discount program. Our c.c. is being credited $400.00!! I can't believe it. It's like getting paid to go on a cruise!! Isn't life wonderful??
Judi Kozar Posted February 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2006 When is your cruise??? And do they do this if the ship is in a sold out mode or just to sell off unsold cabins when not full for sailing?? Thanks
dexter Posted February 28, 2006 #3 Share Posted February 28, 2006 We just booked Mariner of the Seas for 3/12 and we saved a ton of money with the senior discount (55 and over). I just checked the agency website and the discount is no more. The price for a D2 cabin is nearly $3000 now. We paid less than $2000 one week ago. So it pays to take of advantage of those discounts as soon as you can cause they sometimes don't last long.

kenandlinda Posted March 2, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted March 2, 2006 When is your cruise??? And do they do this if the ship is in a sold out mode or just to sell off unsold cabins when not full for sailing?? Thanks Our cruise is April 1st - 5 nights. We were very excited about the discount. It's a senior discount so I am sure that it applies even if the ship is sold out. Ours came even tho we were paid in full. The age for the senior discount is 55 and over!! Jeepers385 Posted March 2, 2006 #6 Share Posted March 2, 2006 Isn't it funny that now that we're getting older we look forward to getting the senior discounts, only 3 1/2 yrs to go till that happens.:D Debbie
